Angola’s Leila Lopes became the new Miss Universe Leila Luliana da Costa Vieira Lopes (born February 26, 1986), edging out beauties from Ukraine, Brazil, the Philippines and China in the final as the pageant marked its 60th anniversary.
The 60th Annual Miss Universe Pageant was broadcast live from Credicard Hall in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on September 12 at 9 p.m. ET and million of people watched this mega event on screen. The 25 Year old Leila Lopes from Angola is crowned Miss Universe, beating out 88 competitors. Leila Lopes is from Angola and her hometown is Benguela.
